Before the camera comes out

Good preparation is a conversation, not a performance

You do not need a perfect plan, a model’s confidence or a list of poses. Preparing for a couples boudoir session begins with a simple question: how would you like the photographs to feel?

Your answer might be romantic, playful, quiet, sensual, cinematic or a mixture of several moods. It gives us a useful starting point for choosing the setting, clothing and pace without forcing your relationship into somebody else’s idea of boudoir.

You can also tell me what you do not want. Clear preferences and boundaries help me create an experience that feels personal, respectful and comfortable for both of you.

A shared comfort level

Plan boundaries together before the session

Couples do not always begin with exactly the same comfort level. That is completely normal. The session follows the boundary of the person who wants to move more slowly, with no pressure to explain or go further.

  • Talk together about what each of you would enjoy.
  • Identify anything either of you does not want photographed.
  • Decide whether faces should appear in every image.
  • Choose a comfortable starting level of clothing.
  • Know that either person can pause or change direction.
  • Keep private-image preferences separate from session consent.

Agreeing to the photoshoot does not mean agreeing to every pose or photograph. Consent remains ongoing, specific and changeable throughout the experience.

A simple session plan

What happens before, during and after

Knowing the shape of the experience can remove much of the uncertainty, especially if this is your first professional photoshoot.

01

Before the photoshoot

We discuss your preferred mood, clothing ideas, the private indoor setting and your boundaries. You can ask practical or personal questions before deciding what feels right.

02

During the session

We begin with relaxed photographs and build gradually. I explain positioning and movement clearly, check comfort as we go and leave space for natural connection.

03

After the session

I carefully edit the selected photographs and deliver them through a private online gallery. Keeping the complete collection private is always an option.

Choosing what to wear

Bring options that feel comfortable and recognisable

There is no required boudoir wardrobe. Underwear, open shirts, fitted T-shirts, relaxed knitwear or a personal piece can all work beautifully. Begin with clothes you already feel good wearing rather than buying something that makes you feel like a different person.

A small selection gives us flexibility. Think about how colours and textures work together, but you do not need to match exactly. It can also help to include one more-covered option for the beginning of the session, allowing you to settle in gradually.

Choosing the setting

Let the location support the mood

Gay couples boudoir sessions take place in a suitable private indoor location in Dublin. The right space depends on the feeling you want, the available natural light and the level of privacy you need.

A bright, minimal interior can create soft and understated portraits. Deeper colours and lower light can make the photographs feel more cinematic. I will help you consider the visual style alongside practical details before the session is confirmed.

You do not need to decorate an entire room or arrive with elaborate props. A simple, uncluttered setting keeps the focus on your expressions, body language and connection.

Privacy after the session

You remain in control of where the images appear

Your finished photographs are delivered through a private online gallery. They are not automatically portfolio images, social-media content or advertising material.

You can keep every photograph completely private. If I ever ask whether a particular image may be shared, permission must be clear and saying no will never affect the care or professionalism of your experience.

Frequently asked questions

Preparing with confidence

How should we prepare for a gay couples boudoir session?

Begin by deciding how you want the images to feel and discussing your individual boundaries. Bring a few comfortable clothing options; we will plan the private setting and practical details together before the photoshoot.

What should we wear for couples boudoir photographs?

Choose pieces that feel like you: underwear, open shirts, fitted basics, relaxed knitwear or something personally meaningful. A small selection helps us create variety without requiring an elaborate wardrobe.

What happens if one of us feels nervous?

We begin slowly with simple, relaxed photographs, and I provide clear direction throughout. Either person can pause, change direction or stop at any point; there is no pressure to progress beyond your shared comfort level.

Are our boudoir photographs kept private?

Yes. Your photographs are delivered through a private online gallery and are never shared on my website, in my portfolio or on social media without your clear permission.

How intimate must the photographs be?

Only as intimate as you both choose. Boudoir may be fully clothed, quietly romantic or more sensual. We agree on a comfortable starting point, and either of you can change your mind during the session.

Where does the session take place?

Sessions take place in a suitable private indoor location in Dublin. We choose the space according to the mood, privacy, availability and practical requirements of your photoshoot.

We booked a session with Fabrice to commemorate our honeymoon in Ireland, and the experience exceeded our expectations. As it was our first professional photoshoot, we were initially a bit unsure and stiff, but Fabrice quickly helped us feel comfortable and relaxed. He was personable, attentive, and highly professional throughout the session. At one point, when I had set my sweater aside, he thoughtfully pointed out that it would be safer not to leave it unattended and kindly kept it with him instead. I would highly recommend Fabrice to anyone seeking not only beautiful photographs, but also a well-organized, enjoyable, and memorable experience.

We booked a photo tour with Fabrice in Dublin for a family of 5 (3 adult children) in August 2025. He was great! We met on time and enjoyed introductions, then started looking for our first stop right away. We were to do some stops in Temple Bar but it was 6pm on Friday night and Oasis was in town so the district was packed! We went to the castle and the college instead. Fabrice was very flexible in letting us have artistic freedom (we had some fun ideas) as well as direction so we didn’t have to think about every shot. We recieved our photos in 3 days, they were awesome! Communication is good as well, and we learned more about Ireland and Dublin as we walked. I’d recommend Fabrice as he delivers great value and is a treat to work with!

We had a wonderful experience with Fabrice! He was friendly, flexible, and quickly adapted to the types of photos and locations we wanted. He was very patient with the older members of our group as we moved between spots and did a fantastic job keeping the children engaged throughout the session. We highly recommend this experience and are happy to have these pictures to remember this trip for a long time!
