Inclusive LGBTQ+ Photographer in Ireland
Born in Lyon, France and now based in Dublin, I photograph people with care, respect, and a calm, affirming approach — celebrating authentic love stories across Ireland.
My story
Born and raised in the picturesque city of Lyon, France, I’m Fabrice Jolivet, an inclusive LGBTQ photographer with over two decades of experience. My journey began on the vibrant streets of Lyon, where my passion for capturing life’s moments first took root. Now, I’m proud to call Dublin home, where I specialise in LGBTQ+ photography.
My connection to the LGBTQ+ community runs deep. In 1992, I was involved with AIDS organisations in Paris, a time marked by significant personal loss as many friends and acquaintances succumbed to the disease. This experience inspired me to create a film titled Plus Fort que la Vie to highlight the suffering endured by the LGBTQ+ community.
In 1995, I organised a major fundraising weekend in Lyon, featuring two days of concerts at the “Transbordeur” to combat HIV/AIDS, with Jean-Michel Jarre as a Godfather.
As an autistic person and part of the neurodivergent community, I see this as a gift that makes me a very sensitive person and respectful in my approach to photography. This unique perspective deepens my commitment to capturing authentic, heartfelt moments for every individual.
