Surprise proposals · Dublin, Ireland
You have something unforgettable to ask. I’ll help you plan the moment — and photograph what happens next.
I’m Fab, a Dublin-based photographer. I’ve photographed dozens of surprise proposals, helping couples turn a walk through the city into a moment they can keep forever.
Book through my Private Couples Photoshoot in Dublin on Viator. Surprise proposals are welcome — let me know your plan in advance.
Planning from abroad?
Planning a proposal during your Ireland vacation can feel like a lot to organise from a distance. You might not know the streets, the best place to stop, or how to have a photographer there without giving everything away.
I’ll help you think through the location, timing and a simple cue. We’ll agree on the details before the day, so you know what to expect when the moment arrives.
Camera-shy? That’s completely fine. I give gentle direction during the portraits, leaving room for the laughter, excitement and connection that make the photographs yours. All couples are welcome.
How it works
A few details agreed beforehand help you enjoy the moment.
Choose your date through my couples photoshoot on Viator, then message me privately to say you’re planning a proposal. Share any ideas, preferences or practical needs so we can work through them together.
We’ll choose a suitable spot and agree on how the surprise will happen. One approach is to book a vacation photoshoot your partner knows about, with the proposal planned quietly between us.
When the agreed moment arrives, I’ll be ready to photograph it. Afterwards, we can continue with relaxed engagement portraits nearby during the rest of your session.
The setting
You don’t need a complete itinerary before booking. Tell me what you have in mind: a recognisable Dublin backdrop, a quieter corner or a place that means something to you.
The area around St Patrick’s Cathedral is one setting we can discuss. We’ll choose the exact spot together, taking account of access, weather, crowds and the route for your session.
A familiar cover story — a couples photoshoot during your trip — can make it natural to have me there. We’ll agree on the cue privately rather than leaving you to guess when to propose.
The final location and any changes to the listed meeting point must be agreed with me in advance. Venue entry or exclusive use of a location is not promised.
